Honour Our Humanity

There is truly no shame in being a dope.

Until we know that we are a dope. Before, we were dopey. Then, we had an excuse. Now we know that we’re dopey, the situation is radically different.

Before, the basement was dark. Then, a light went on. Our perception of the known universe changed at that point. Some are happy to forget, some can never go back to what they knew before.

If we are happy being dopey, we will also be equally unhappy (this is inevitable). But accepting our dopiness, and denying the light that went on in our world, fails to honour our humanity.
