When we meet and accept a challenge, our higher and lower natures bang together.
If we embrace them, something happens.
In practical terms, the friction generates a fine/high quality of energy which then becomes available.
In time, with experience and persistence, this fine energy begins to coalesce with other energies within us, and a body of Presence begins to form.
In Workspeak, this is the kesdjan body. In conventional terms, the soul.
An everyday example of such a challenge: working with people we dislike.
So why would we deny ourselves this opportunity, merely because someone irritates the shit out of us?
An opportunity missed.
