Just in from Leonardo Requejo – the recently completed Applied Music Spring Retreat 2023 in Mexico, April 6th­–9th 2023:

This was the second Retreat we’ve had since picking up activities after the pandemic. The aim of these is to reconnect with the Work, see where we are and what is possible for this group in particular, and to begin shaping up in preparation for the course in 2025 (which, at the moment, is still “on hold” due to the absence of a suitable house).

This time we incorporated Yani, a Somatic Movement teacher to complement the work that Ana has been doing with us with the body, in areas such as we call Body in Motion and Harmony in Motion.

There were 13 of us:

Seven women: Ana, Julia, Gaby, Nathalie, Minú, Tea and Yani; and 6 men: Eduardo, Daniel, Jair, Sebastian, Ricardo and Leo.

It was a good few days of serious and fun work, my sense is that the group began moving in a positive direction beyond just liking itself and the individuals feeling at ease and with great trust in one another.

We’re looking at having several more retreats like this, also longer and opening the invitation for others to join.
