A Circle Work Weekend, hosted by the Europa String Choir & Friends will be held in a month, February 21-24, 2025 in Wang, Germany:
A weekend of musical group work hosted by Alessandro Bruno, Cathy Stevens, and Udo Dzierzanowski of the Europa String Choir, together with Munich friends Pia Honold and Jakob Lieglein, and Mikael Weichbrodt from Sweden.
Welcome to join us in the Circle as we continue practicing our Craft with and without instruments, looking back to our recent work in Itri last September, and forward to the upcoming Orchestra of Crafty Guitarists course in Castione della Presolana in April – holding the question of where we are now and what is needed, while inviting Silence and Music.
The weekend will include work in the House and Kitchen, as well as a small performance for family & friends on the Sunday. Work on the Alexander Technique will also be available, guided by experienced AT Teachers Cathy & Pia.
Our location is the Felshaus, a roomy, well-equipped house for groups, ca. 50 minutes from Munich by car or train. We will enter the House on the afternoon of Friday the 21st, and depart on the morning of Monday the 24th.
Participation is open to anyone who has attended at least one Guitar Circle or directly related project, and the necessary contribution per person to cover the expenses is €200.
If you wish to participate, please send an application letter to alessandro.bruno57@gmail.com, responding to the following questions:
