An Introduction to Guitar Craft will be presented by Tony Geballe, Curt Golden, Brad Hogg, Victor McSurely, Dev Ray, Mikael Weichbrodt, and Erin Wigger, August 9th/11th-17th 2025 in Camp Caravan, Royalston, Massachusetts, USA:

“Guitar Craft is a way of developing a relationship with the guitar, with music, and with ourselves.”

This course is open to anyone, including those without any prior experience on the guitar. The Guitar Craft Tuning as well as a number of basic guitar practices and Guitar Craft / Guitar Circle techniques will be presented. This is the course for anyone who wishes to make a beginning in the Guitar Circle.

This course is also for those who have had some experience with our work and wish to deepen their practice. This will be done through more advanced practices and techniques, along with work in the House and work in the Kitchen.

Erin Wigger (AmSAT certified AT teacher) will introduce the Alexander Technique.

Dates:
August 11th-17th – for those who are new to this work
August 9th-17th – for those with experience

For those new to this work, your course will begin on Monday, August 11th in the evening. Please arrive in time to settle in before dinner at 7pm.

For those with experience, your course will begin on Saturday, August 9th in the evening. A small prep team will arrive on Friday. August 8th to prepare the house.

We will all complete together on Saturday, August 16th, with departures from the house on Sunday, the 17th. Please bear in the mind the facility is nearly two hours from Boston Logan airport so early flights may be difficult. 

Application letters are necessary and space is limited. The minimum age to apply is eighteen.
