Música En Movimiento’s At A Distance project “Practice: Assimilation and Application. AAD VI – Extended Project 2023” begins in only 9 days!

This seven-month course is for those who have worked within MEM/GC context on a consistent basis over the past years. We intend to take what has been achieved so far and use it as a basis for more Advanced Practice.
The principle underlying this year’s At-a-Distance project is: Practice:Assimilation and Application. By this we intend taking the elements we have already been working with and integrating them so they become more connected in our practice.
What is our practice?
We recognize that we now have different levels of experience within the MeM/GC teams.There will be three groups, each one requiring a different level of commitment. More does not mean more, of course, just what is appropriate for you in your life circumstance.
The course will consist of individually organized work and online sessions. Participants will work together with their home teams, individually, and with each others on the projects.
All the MeM elements will be present on the course: Guitar work (Calisthenics, Repertoire, Composition, Performance); Themes; Morning Exercises; Body Work (Feldenkreis, Tai Chi, Prana Yama, Qi Gong); Readings; Kitchen/ House work Craft. These will be offered in an integrated fashion and on a variable basis – both weekly and monthly – using the online platform, Zoom + meetings, and actual physical meetings.
This project will be completed after a Tour of The Guitar Orchestra in the West of Argentina, that will take place from the 2nd to the 10th of December 2023.
