Practising Together 40 Days – At A Distance Project

Practice is a process of uniting the World Of Qualities and the World Of Existences, of blending the world of Silence and the world of sounds. In this sense, practice is a way of transformation.

The aims of this project are:
– To support the development of a personal discipline in anyone who has this aim.
– Explore raising our level of application.
– Transformation.
Andrés Ceccarelli will present recently developed guitar calisthenics exercises.
Chris Doering will present exercises addressing the internal functioning of the player.
Ignacio Gracián will present Alexander Technique and integrated attention exercises.
Mariana Scaravilli will attend to the project’s wholeness and unfolding process.
Special guests:

Mariela Cárdenas will present a piece of AT work and be present at the November 3rd and November 17th meetings.
Robert Fripp will meet with the project at the Beginning, the Middle, and the End.

The requirements to participate are:
– Previous experience in Guitar Craft & The Guitar Circle.
– An established Morning Sitting practice.
– Commitment to individual aims and the aim of the project.
– Commitment to 40 days of practice.

Each participant sets their commitment.
The recommendation is to daily engage in all areas of practice.
Recommendations about how to organise a day of practise, for this particular project, will be available.
We’ll use Google Drive to upload the exercises, and we’ll be meeting over Zoom with those who wish, for comments, reports, observations, questions. Also, guitar and AT work might be part of these meetings, in response to comments and/or questions that may be presented, arising from our practising together.
AT semi-supine and AT work on the chair will be part of the project. Guided semi-supine and chair work audio tracks, in Spanish and English, will be available.
Joining the Zoom meetings is recommended however not a requirement for participation.
