Continuing – Guitar Craft at Camp Caravan At-A-Distance

Presented by the Guitar Craft at Camp Caravan core team: Tony Geballe, Curt Golden, Brad Hogg, Victor McSurely, Dev Ray, Mikael Weichbrodt, and Erin Wigger.
Special guest: Robert Fripp

Wednesday 21, January – Sunday 1, March 2026

Online

This 40 day at-a-distance project is open to all worldwide who find themselves continuing, or maybe wish to continue but aren’t quite sure how. In other words, anyone who finds themselves at the Beginning, the Middle, or the End and would like support or help in moving forward.

Join us for 40 days of practice and exploration, sprung from the wish to support the work of those who attended the Introduction to Guitar Craft at Camp Caravan (Massachusetts, USA) this past summer, and those who wish to prepare for the Beginning and Continuing course which will be held at the same location in July 2026.

Participants will be asked to state a Guitar Goal for the course, and to commit to a daily Sitting practice for the duration. We suggest that the goal be clear, measurable, and attainable – then support can be provided.

Staff members will be available to work with the Continuing process in various ways, with the work being presented on our website as well as on Zoom. There will be regular opportunities for comments, reports, observations, questions, etc., and our online Practice Room will be open throughout the course for those who wish to practice there together or alone.

The work will include the Alexander Technique, and Robert will be joining us at a time to be determined to speak with us about Continuing.

This course is open to anyone who has participated in an Introduction to Guitar Craft, Guitar Circle, or any of the subsequently formed groups carrying this work forward. If you have not attended a formal introduction and are not sure whether this course is for you, please feel free to get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to offer guidance.

The suggested contribution is $100/€100, although any amount is accepted with gratitude. Any funds remaining after the running costs for the AAD have been covered will be used to support the courses at Camp Caravan or any directly related work.
