Guitar Circle Of Italy Meeting

Friday 7 – Sunday 9, December 2001

Rolo, Italy

Word

Short accounts about the weekend by Alessandro Bruno.

It formally unfolded as usual, rise, sitting, warm up, breakfast, circle, break, circle, and so on. The main thing for me was that I let go of my position of the “guy in charge”, this simple thing freed up a load of responsibilities which was then shared equally among the “senior members”, I also made my contribution to the expenses as a consequence of that shift. Also the combination of people this time was pretty homogeneous, Attilio was a surprise (he’s going to attend the L2), together with Vinni (who unfortunately couldn’t be there), Filippo (who’s definitely a candidate to pick the witness up), and Adriano (an “experienced” crafty who’s presence always make the difference), they form a front of people who can work; a step behind Aldo, Roberto Duse and Roberto Deiana follow, they’re motivated and have good heart so the leap is at reach for them at this point, in the wake of the others.

When I was back home on Sunday night, after 52 hours, travelling back and forth, a sleepless night, I was pretty tired, but happy.
