Introduction to the Guitar Circle

Beginners & Intermediate Course

Monday 10 – Thursday 20, February 2014

Cuernavaca, Mexico

Directed by Robert Fripp.
Assisted by experienced members of the North American Federation of Guitar Circles and The Guitar Circle of Europe.

Arrivals: Kitchen Team Feb 10th, Intro Participants Feb 12th before 4 pm.
Departures: Feb 20th (by noon).

Beginners: open to anyone who wishes to attend, even those without any prior experience on the guitar. The Guitar Craft Tuning and several Guitar Circle basic techniques will be presented. This is the course for anyone who wishes to make a beginning in the Guitar Circle.

Intermediates: open to those who have at least attended a Guitar Craft Beginners/Intro course, have worked with and applied the principles presented. House & Kitchen work will be part of this course.

Both courses will be directed by Robert Fripp, assisted by experienced members of the Guitar Circle of North America.

Sandra Bain Cushman and Rodrigo Suárez Hoffman (certified AT teachers) will introduce the Alexander Technique. Luciano Pietrafesa will introduce Tai Chi Chuan.

Application letters are necessary, and often telephone interviews as well. The minimum age to apply is eighteen.

If accepted to attend, you’ll receive detailed info about exact location, transportation, what you need to bring, form of payment, and other practicalities.

Fee: $900 US ($12,000 mxn), Kitchen Team $650 US ($8,000 mxn)
