Introduction to the Guitar Circle

Directed by Robert Fripp.
Assisted by experienced members of the North American Federation of Guitar Circles.

Arrivals: Monday, June 8 morning to early afternoon.
Departures: Sunday, June 14 before lunch.

This course is open to anyone, even those without any prior experience on the guitar. The Guitar Craft Tuning and a number of basic guitar practices and Guitar Circle techniques will be presented. This is the course for anyone who wishes to make a beginning in the Guitar Circle.

Sandra Bain Cushman and Erin Wigger (certified AT teachers) will introduce the Alexander Technique.

A team of experienced Crafties will run the kitchen and the house.

Application letters are necessary, and often telephone interviews as well. The minimum age to apply is eighteen.

Beginner/Intermediate Guitar Circle Course

Directed by Robert Fripp.
With support from the North American Federation of Guitar Circles.

Arrivals: Monday, June 8 morning to early afternoon.
Departures: Sunday, June 14 before lunch.

This course is open to those who have an established sitting practice and have attended an Introduction to the Guitar Circle course.

This course will address the question:
How can we each deepen our practice and apply the quality of our relationship with the guitar to the mundane activities of our life, like cleaning the bathroom and preparing food?
Kitchen Craft and House Craft will be part of this course.

This will be an opportunity to work with the exercises presented on previous courses, i.e. the primaries, secondaries, circulations, repertoire, etc. The sitting practice, as well as The Guitarist Inside will be addressed.
