The Chamber Orchestra is open to 30 players who have substantial experience performing in a Guitar Circle context, and fulfill the requirements for attendance listed below.

While we wish we could accept everyone to this project, it’s just not feasible due to its nature. If you see yourself as a part of this team, please send in your application as soon as you can.

Arrivals will be to Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) on Monday, May 30th. The tour completes in Chicago and the tour bus will continue on to the OCG XIII in Detroit. Departures therefore will be from Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) on Sunday, June 12th, unless special arrangements are made to leave on June 5th.

Requirements for attendance:

Established Morning Sitting Practice

Competence in a range of GC and GCNA repertoire

Application and assimilation of Guitar Circle principles over an extended period of time

Highly adaptable to touring conditions—life on the road, etc.

Experience and practice with The Guitarist Inside

Able to reliably and repeatedly play in tune, in time, in tone

Deadline for applications is March 31st. Acceptances will be sent out shortly afterwards. To attend this project and OCG XIII, participants need to apply for each separately.

1. Who are you? (please list courses and performance projects that you have attended)
2. Why do you wish to attend?
3. What is your Aim for the project?

If accepted to attend, you will receive detailed information about tour itinerary, logistics, what you need to bring and other practicalities.

Accommodation costs and transportation during the tour will be covered by tour proceeds.

Participants will be responsible for the cost of their own meals and snacks.
