This nine day residential course is open to anyone that has successfully attended at least a GC Level 1 – Beginners course and/or Introduction to GC directed by RF and has taken the principles presented seriously.

The kitchen and house preparation team (Circle of Barcelona) will arrive on February 18th, if you see yourself supporting this team please send an application letter. An established Morning Sitting practice is a pre-requisite to be a member of the kitchen-house work team.

The work will focus around preparing/rehearsing with The Orchestra of Crafty Guitarists under Robert’s direction, a public performance in The Teatro La Unió of San Cugat will be held on February 27th.

Robert will be assisted by a team of long term Crafties such as Martin Schwutke, Dr.Mike Grenfell, Hernán Nuñez, Luciano Pietrafesa (Tai Chi) and Mariela Cárdenas (Alexander Technique).

“Three blasts of extemporisation, astonishment & wonder over a 45-minute period.

This eruption of energy: how to construct a vehicle to get to this? Alternatively expressed, how to facilitate & catalyse this? One of the comments that has been made on the course, from a composer, of the difficulty / impossibility of composing what is being played spontaneously in the Circle by some 50 guitarists – so, how might this be done?

Seeing an interesting possibility for a future-manifestation in public performance.”
